If you are reading this, you probably saw my Instagram post, where I expressed my gratitude for a relationship that had grown over time - a client who had become a friend. I am incredibly fortunate to be in a profession that offers me such opportunities. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with numerous individuals, including @coughjackiecough, @sludge.hammer, and @rocky_and_leia_. The transformation from client to friend is a journey I am always thrilled to embark on.
Being a photographer for more than a decade, I've had the chance to share in over 300 weddings, travel to 4 countries and many states. Each experience has not only enhanced my skills but also allowed me to form meaningful connections. My BFA in photography, paired with my experience in advertising, documentary, and fashion photography, has equipped me with a unique perspective on creating narratives through photos.
However, the true essence of my work does not solely lie in the technical expertise I've garnered over the years. It's more about the magic that unfolds when a client places their trust in me, allowing me to capture their most authentic moments, and in the process, forging a bond that often transcends professional boundaries.
I have always believed in making my clients feel comfortable and confident, guiding them whenever they have doubts, and most importantly, engaging with them throughout the process. I approach each project with a dynamic, empathetic attitude, ensuring my clients feel at ease to be themselves in front of the camera.
As I look back on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the people I have met along the way. Their stories have not only influenced my work but have also become a part of my own story. It's these connections, these friendships, that make my job feel less like work and more like a dream.
So, here's to all the clients who have turned into friends, to all the stories that have been shared, and to all the adventures yet to come. Here's to the joy of being more than just a photographer. And if you're considering collaborating with me, I eagerly invite you to embark on this beautiful journey together. Because in my line of work, a picture is worth more than a thousand words; it's the start of a lifelong friendship.
