If there's one thing that never fails to excite me, it's the opportunity to be a part of unique love stories. Leon and Laura's tale is one that stands out – two individuals from opposite ends of the globe, New Zealand and Michigan, finding their way to each other. I was thrilled, to say the least, to document their wedding and capture their radiant energy through my lens.

Their wedding was held in Traverse City, Michigan - a place known for its scenic beauty, which served as the perfect backdrop for such a special day. The golden hour, that magical time of day when the light is just perfect, was our companion, casting a warm glow on the lovely couple and their guests.

Delving into my experience in advertising, documentary and fashion photography, I aimed to portray their vibrant energy and the deep connection they share. The little details, those fleeting moments, the raw emotions - everything was in focus.

Their photos are not just mere pictures, they are a testament to their unique love story, a story that spans continents. Each click of my camera was a moment frozen in time, a memory that they can look back on and relive.

Every time I look at their photos, I am reminded of the joy and love that was so palpable on their wedding day – it's all there, flowing out of every image.

Being a part of their story, and being able to immortalize their special day through my photography, has been an immense honor. It's moments like these that remind me of why I chose this profession a over decade ago, and why I continue to be passionate about it.
